Rehoming Fees Explained

We often get asked why our rehoming fees are what they are and what they cover. We wish we didn’t have to ask for minimum donations for our animals, but that just wouldn’t the sustainable and we wouldn’t be able to continue to do what we do!

Here’s a breakdown of what’s what:

Cats & Kittens

Based on vet costs from Aston Clinton Medivet. 

Microchipping: £32 per cat

Full vaccination course: £99

Spay: £120 (£150 with medication)

Neuter: £93 (£120 with medication)

Food: £40 per cat

(Iams kitten, Felix as good as it looks adult)

Parasite treatment: £9 per cat

Vet health check: £52

This does not include any formula for hand rears, litter costs or any additional medications/vet trips.

Guinea Pigs

All piggies leave vet checked and parasite treated.

Based on Aylesbury Vets.

Vet health check: £40 per guinea pig

Parasite treatment: £5 per guinea pig

Food: £15

This does not include substrate or enrichment for their cages.

Hamster

All hamsters leave vet checked  

Based on Aylesbury Vets.

Vet health check: £40 per hamster

This does not include substrate or cage enrichment.

Budgies

All budgies and birds leave vet checked  

Vet health check: £55

Food: £15

Rabbits

All rabbits leave parasite treated, vet checked and neutered
