No, we have not lost the plot. (Well, not entirely.)

Meet Frankie the ferret, professional chaos noodle, part time cuddle monster, full time explorer of cupboards that were definitely closed five minutes ago.

Frankie is cuddly (when she decides you’re worthy), playful (translation; your ankles are now a game), full of life (and suspicious levels of confidence) and cheeky enough to check your pockets for snacks and your dignity.

Frankie loves exploring every inch of her surroundings. If there is a gap, she will find it. If there is a sock, she will steal it. If there is a cat bed, she will absolutely claim it.

Which brings us to the important question; Why is she in the cat section?

Because she has the attitude of one.

Some families bond over love.
These two bond over dramatic staring contests, mild judgement, and the occasional ‘ugh, mum 🙄’ moment.

Meet Ruby and Opal; mother and daughter with a classic love hate relationship. Think: ‘Don’t sit next to me’, but also, ‘Where are you going? Come back.’

We originally tried them separately, but it turns out Opal had other plans and firmly decided Ruby is her emotional support grumpy mum. So together they shall remain.

Young, spirited, nosey and absolutely convinced the world is her personal adventure park.

Opal is the type of cat who will investigate every cupboard, every shelf and possibly your soul. Mischief follows her around like a loyal assistant. A home with lots of toys, climbing spaces and ideally safe outdoor access would suit her perfectly.

👑 Ruby; The Grumpy Queen with a Soft Centre

Ruby is one of those cats who needs a little time to blossom. At first she may appear standoffish, maybe even throw in a hiss for dramatic effect, but underneath that spicy exterior? A complete cuddle bug.

• First one on the lap every morning
• Delivers face kisses like it’s her full time job
• Professional lap warmer
• Prefers observing chaos rather than participating
• Sleeps at the top of the cat tower like the queen she is

She does have a few no touchy areas, but once she trusts you she melts into the most affectionate, beautiful girl.

Ruby would enjoy a gentle potter in a garden, but she’s also perfectly happy supervising life from her throne (aka the highest cat tower available).

If you’ve got the patience to let Ruby blossom and the sense of humour to keep up with Opal, you’ll end up with two very special girls who will absolutely steal your heart. And probably your seat. And your snacks. And the top shelf of every cupboard.

This gorgeous girl is a certified cuddle enthusiast who believes personal space is just a suggestion. She LOVES affection, thrives on company, and will happily greet you like you’ve returned from war even if you only went to make a cup of tea.

Mandy’s resume includes:

🐾 Expert snuggler with advanced biscuit making skills
🐾 Very chatty, she has opinions and she WILL share them
🐾 Inquisitive little nosey parker who wants to know everything you’re doing
🐾 Professional window watcher. Birds, leaves, suspicious clouds, she monitors it all.

Mandy would absolutely adore a home where people are around a lot, perfect for families or someone working from home who needs a furry supervisor. She’d also enjoy access to a safe outdoor environment, as she loves watching the world, but we suspect she’d lose an argument with a strong breeze, so security is key.

Now, let’s address the elephant in the room. The vet says Mandy needs a diet. Mandy says the vet is a liar. We are currently negotiating terms.

She’s affectionate, funny, and full of personality. The kind of cat who turns a house into a home (and possibly a 24/7 commentary channel).
