Meet Frankie the ferret, professional chaos noodle, part time cuddle monster, full time explorer of cupboards that were definitely closed five minutes ago.
Frankie is cuddly (when she decides you’re worthy), playful (translation; your ankles are now a game), full of life (and suspicious levels of confidence) and cheeky enough to check your pockets for snacks and your dignity.
Frankie loves exploring every inch of her surroundings. If there is a gap, she will find it. If there is a sock, she will steal it. If there is a cat bed, she will absolutely claim it.
Which brings us to the important question; Why is she in the cat section?
Because she has the attitude of one.

Introducing Opal. Professional snack inspector. Part time ninja. Full time adorable chaos goblin.
Opal is loving, cheeky, and just the right amount of dramatic. She has a particular talent for appearing from absolutely nowhere the moment food is present. Sandwich? She’s there. Cereal? She’s there. Emotional support biscuit? She’s in it.
Her nose believes in inclusivity. All meals should include Opal.
Now, our girl does have a sensitive side. Sudden movements? Absolutely not. If you stand up too quickly or walk directly at her, she will vanish like a Victorian ghost. She prefers gentle humans who glide rather than stomp. Think calm yoga instructor energy, not late for the bus energy.
But once she knows you’re safe?
Oh, she’s playful. She’s curious. She’s zoomie. That one overactive brain cell works overtime and occasionally glitches in the most hilarious way. You can almost see the loading symbol behind her eyes. Opal is insanely loving once she’s settled ♥️
She would really, really benefit from a friendly, playful cat in the home. Where she can watch other confident cats and think, ‘Oh. So we’re allowed to do that?’ Ruby, unfortunately, offers the personality level of a beige carpet, so Opal needs someone a little more ‘let’s zoom!’ and a little less ‘I will sit here and contemplate the wall.’
Children 8+ would be fine, as long as they’re calm and understand that Opal is a delicate little soul with a big personality.

Ruby is a beautiful 7 year old girl who’s finding the world a little overwhelming right now. She’s only ever known one home and one person, so landing in rescue life has been a big, scary change for this sensitive soul.
She’s not a pick me up and cuddle me like a teddy kind of cat, and honestly, she’d like to speak to management about anyone who tries. Ruby is fiercely independent and prefers affection on her terms. Trust takes time with her, and she’ll need a patient human who understands that building a bond is a slow, gentle process.
But here’s the magic part ✨
Once Ruby decides you’re safe, she softens. She’ll come closer, accept fusses, and quietly become your little shadow, just without the lifting, please and thank you.
Ruby needs a calm, understanding home where someone will be happy to let her set the pace and respect her boundaries.
